The Porsche Piwis3 coding programming experience

It has been confirmed that Porsche Piwis3 can work with VXDIAG Porsche hardware, and only VXDIAG Porsche Piwis3 V40.4 can work with Porsche 2021 year, piwis2 cannot

Update: Piwis II can’t update to Porsche Piwis III because they have the different hardware, the Piwis III has the higher demand to the computer resolution.

Part 2: Porsche Piwis3 Engineer mode.

Choose”System”, then ” Diagnostics configuration for 991,981, 918, 970, Cayenne from MY11, Macan”

3) Choose “E” for the engineering version.

After you change the mode to “E” and want to enter to change to other mode you will be disallowed, you need to restart the software. This is another difference between the PIWIS tester III and II. The developer claims to make a normal mode and develop mode for switch as free as you like.

Choose “Applications” to go “Wiring diagram”.

Choose the Porsche model to read the wiring diagram. For the Model after 2017, you need Porsche PIWIS Tester III
